Foundation Research Division

The Foundation Research Division is committed to promoting awareness of and access to coaching-related research. To this end, we have developed a Research Repository for articles, studies and dissertations related to the field and practice of coaching. This repository is offered as a resource and as a catalyst for scholars, practitioners and scientist-practitioners in coaching. This repository was developed to enable scholars and scientist-practitioners to access the current literature and to more broadly share their own published materials.

This is a user-friendly interface which facilitates a search of articles in the database by author, title or keyword. The results will provide a full citation and abstract. In some instances, the results will include a link to a downloadable file of the article. All of the articles retrieved from the repository have appeared in peer reviewed publications.

What distinguishes the Foundation of Coaching repository search from more familiar e-library searches is that results will include materials which have appeared in coaching specific publications (The Proceedings of the ICF Research Symposia, the International Journal of Coaching in Organizations, The International Journal of Evidence-Based Coaching and Mentoring), as well as more familiar professional journals in related disciplines.

To submit an article for inclusion in the repository, Click Here.

The repository also offers scholars of coaching a venue for sharing their work with the coaching community. We extend an invitation to authors to submit citations and -where copyright permits- to post a copy of the article for downloading. We are soliciting articles which have been published in peer-reviewed journals; papers selected for presentation at professional conferences by a peer review process; and approved doctoral dissertations.
